April’s Applied Science degree and newspaper experience combine to serve her well in creating conceptual drawings, developing advertising materials and writing news releases as our marketing coordinator. April has an eye for detail and aesthetics and appreciates many kinds of design, art and science. She is most happy when her work is positioned around those things, and says it never feels like work to her.
She and her two sons, Tanner and Clayton, moved into the home her grandparents built 65 years ago and are continually and lovingly making improvements. Her hobbies are greenhouse gardening, catching a show or music festival and being a baseball mom.
“I believe in living an inspired, creative life and have found Contraxx to be this kind of workplace,” April says, “building relationships with incredibly talented people has been the most rewarding part of my job. At Contraxx, we are encouraged to live comprehensive lives and given the freedom to succeed in our outside endeavors. I feel I can live a more intentional life as a part of this team, and the only limitations are the ones I set for myself!”
