St. Cecilia was founded by renowned Atlanta chef-restaurateur Ford Fry as part of his Rocket Farm Restaurants group.
The restaurant’s name refers to St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, which Fry envisioned metaphorically — as a siren inviting diners to enjoy deep-sea delights and richly expressive cuisine.
The space was redesigned from its former life as Bluepointe into an elegant, sprawling 10,700-square-foot restaurant with a grand bar, multiple seating areas, private dining rooms, and chef’s tables.
Interior design incorporates coastal Italian aesthetic touches — from reclaimed wood and white tile to nautical detailing — reflecting the seaside inspiration of the cuisine and setting.
Since its debut, St. Cecilia has become one of Buckhead’s standout destinations for Italian-inspired coastal cuisine, known for both its food and its vibrant, elegant atmosphere. It helped broaden Atlanta’s appreciation for high-end, ingredient-driven European dining and contributed to the city’s evolving restaurant culture in the 2010s.
